romo

2017 - present

ROMO is a well-established textile manufacturer based in England. As one of the leading fabric companies in the trade, we offer a wide range of textiles for upholstery, draperies, finished goods and trimmings as well as wallcovering.

Operating out of a trade-only corporate showroom in Boston’s Seaport, I work one-on-one with local designers to shop for their specific project needs. Processing orders and inquiries in a timely manner is my top priority. Using my design knowledge and experience, I assist designers with finding exactly what they’re looking for.

As a relatively new Bostonian, I’ve been able to forge relationships with local designers that keep me interested in their new projects and overall wellbeing.

2015 - 2017

As one of the few starting e-designers at the online interior design startup, I rapidly conceptualized designs for individual clients on a daily basis. The tight timelines and deliverables included moodboards, concept boards, product specification, renderings and floor plans.

Communicating with my clients at every step of the way was my top priority in ensuring they were satisfied with their final product. Being a top performer with high client satisfaction, I was often in charge of VIP clients. I enjoyed helping Havenly create an ever-improving environment for new designers who are looking to start their own business, and giving them the platform to do so. Training new designers to the platform was rewarding!

2012 - 2017

Since graduating in 2012, I’ve done freelance, part-time, and full-time work as an interior designer, interior design intern, graphic designer, and sales associate for high-end furnishings retail. After graduating, I began working at West Elm and eventually became one of their first Home Stylists, meeting with clients in their homes to discuss refreshing or designing their space.

I have experience in luxury handmade rugs and have ever since appreciated a beautiful antique rug. Some would say I’m a rug snob. Before finding design sales, I had past lives working at Abercrombie & Fitch, a snoozy campus bookstore, and even for a marketing team in Las Vegas (yup…).
